Most new pickup trucks are monsters. Now this! For a much higher price than Elon Musk promised, Tesla has finally started to deliver the first few Cybertrucks in the US.
Customer deliveries began at the end of November 2023, and choices include the 845bhp “Cyberbeast” tri-motor version , costing $99,990 with a range of 320-miles, and a $79,990 AWD dual-motor version with 600bhp, 340-miles range and 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds. In 2025 a RWD-only single motor will arrive with 250-mile range and 0-60mph in 6.5 seconds. You can have it in any color you like, so long as it’s bare stainless steel, and the entry price is $60,990 for that single-motor truck.
Does this happen to designers when a nightmare about your boss includes a DeLorean DMC? And they claim it is bullet proof. I think their Cybertruck is ugly, like an edgy cinderblock shed wrapped in foil with non-functional solar panels. It could also be a mobile safe room. Or is it a weapon? Look out cops! Look out us, especially if the driver is wearing Meta Smart Glasses. BTW, I think the Rivians are cute as Mini Coopers.
Stop the world. I want this thing to get off!
